A stable, comfortable and lasting solution

When someone has lost all their teeth, or their teeth can no longer be saved, dental implants offer a fixed, stable solution that is much more comfortable than traditional removable dentures. They restore effective chewing, better digestion, more natural speech and a harmonious smile — while eliminating the discomfort of dentures that move.

Why choose implants for complete tooth loss?

Dental implants have several important advantages:

  • Unmatched stability: the denture no longer moves, even when eating firmer foods.
  • Greater comfort: no pressure points, no sores caused by an unstable denture rubbing.
  • Better chewing: you can eat what you want, not just what you can.
  • Natural esthetics: the smile is more harmonious and the face better supported.
  • Bone preservation: implants stimulate the jawbone and slow down bone loss.
  • Better quality of life: no more adhesive, no more fear of the denture falling out, no more embarrassment in public.

This solution gives back a freedom at the table and in social life that removable dentures cannot offer.

The fixed denture on 4 implants: a proven technique, adapted to each patient

A fixed denture stabilized by 4 implants is an alternative that has grown in popularity in recent years. A widely publicized concept is known as All-on-4®. It is important to know that this is a trademark registered by Nobel Biocare. But the technique can be applied to most implant systems. It is a protocol that supports a complete arch of teeth on four strategically positioned implants. This approach makes a fixed solution possible even when bone is limited, thanks to the specific angle of some of the implants.

Although All-on-4® is a brand, the treatment philosophy can be adapted. Depending on the anatomy, bone density and needs of the patient, it is possible to use:

  • 4 implants,
  • 5 implants,
  • 6 implants or more,

to ensure optimal stability. The idea is not to follow a rigid protocol, but to adapt the technique to each mouth to get the best possible result. That is why, rather than limiting ourselves to the All-on-4 technique, we talk about All-on-X treatment solutions.

Who is this solution ideal for?

  • Patients with no teeth left
  • Patients whose remaining teeth can no longer be saved
  • People who don’t tolerate removable dentures
  • Patients who want a fixed, stable and lasting solution
  • People with moderate to advanced bone loss

Each case is assessed individually to offer the most suitable solution.

How does the treatment work?

  1. Complete assessment
Clinical exam, smile analysis, 3D X-rays and digital planning to determine the number and ideal position of the implants.
  2. Placing the implants
The implants are placed to provide maximum stability, even in areas where the bone is thinner.
  3. Temporary fixed denture
In many cases, a temporary fixed denture can be fitted the same day or shortly after surgery.
  4. Healing and osseointegration
The bone gradually fuses to the implants, providing a solid, lasting base.
  5. Final denture
Once healing is complete, a more precise and more esthetic final denture is made.
